I'm Rachael, a serial creative and coastal living enthusiast, and the owner of Sea Love Freeport | A Candle Bar and Boutique.

When I’m not busy scent blending new candles or curating the perfect items for the boutique, I am spending time with my husband, Ryan and our three kids: Evie, Jacob and Andrew.

We like to say our family is the perfect blend of love and chaos; that’s probably why my favorite candles are calming scents!

With previous careers in dentistry and academia, I was drawn to the science involved in clean burning candles and scent blending.

As someone who always had candles burning in the house, I loved the idea of creating a custom candle or diffuser that was a health conscious alternative to typical store-bought, paraffin based candles.

In 2022, I traded in my scrubs and lecture halls to bring Sea Love Freeport | A Candle Bar and Boutique to Freeport, Maine. I can’t wait for you to make memories through scent blending or shopping in the boutique.
